Jennifer West - Certified Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Teacher

Jennifer willingly accepted my son as her theory student and this musical relationship has lasted for about five years. She began teaching my son in Grade 9 - Harmony and History, and now with her guidance, and highly informed musical knowledge, my son is fast approaching completion of his ARCT musical journey. Jennifer has been instrumental in providing expert opinions to enrich her teaching. This outreach created a very dynamic exploration and exposure to the vast musical network for my son.For example, by setting up MasterClasses and arranging input from PhD Professionals for mock exams, Jennifer provided a learning environment always seeking to research and fulfill any musical queries. She is a very serious committed teacher who expects the very best from her students. We arevery grateful to have been one of her’s. It has been filled with motivation, historical insight and accomplishment!
Jennifer taught our daughter piano harmony and theory for three years. She is a very knowledgeable, patient and diligent teacher. My daughter didn’t always find the history or theory part very interesting, but Jennifer taught it in a way which made it easier for her to understand and interesting. My daughter always felt comfortable speaking up if she didn’t understand something with Jennifer. For this we are very grateful. We highly recommend Jennifer! -

Jennifer is one of my favorite teachers I've had in my music career! She taught me everything I needed to know to pass my theory and history exams. She always encouraged me to try my best and made all the material super easy to understand.
